Pizza Team Member

Little Town Pizza Lake Cowichan is looking for a reliable, motivated Part-Time Pizza Cook/Closing Cook to join our team. This position is primarily evenings and weekends, with some daytime prep shifts required.

Position Overview:

• Part-time, approx. 3 shifts per week to start (Saturday, Sunday, Mondays)
• Evening and weekend availability is a must
• Includes daytime prep shifts as scheduled
• Responsible for cooking, closing duties, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen
• Train across multiple areas of the restaurant, focusing on customer service and cooking.
• Start with 3 days per week with possibility of more shifts in future and options to cover shifts for other staff

Key Job Duties:

• Make and cook pizzas according to our recipes and quality standards.
• Assist customers by taking their orders, answering questions, and handling payments.
• Prep ingredients for pizzas and other menu items, ensuring freshness and proper portioning.
• Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and assist with general cleaning tasks.
• Ensure the restaurant is clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas.
• Assist with inventory checks, restocking, and maintaining food storage.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure customer satisfaction and timely orders.
• Completing prep tasks during daytime shifts
• Closing kitchen duties (cleaning, dishes, organizing, etc.)
• Following food safety and cleanliness guidelines

• Kitchen Experience: Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
• Reliable & Punctual: Dependable with a strong work ethic.
