Tourism Tuesdays are coming to the Cowichan Regional Visitor Centre during Small Business Month in October 2022!
The Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce and the Cowichan Regional Visitor Centre would like to welcome Tourism Cowichan for Tourism Tuesdays (held on Tuesdays, of course!) during the month of October. Pop by the Visitor Centre to meet in-person with Martina Morgan, Marketing and Engagement Coordinator with Tourism Cowichan. Martina will be available between 10am-4pm, October 4, 11, 18 and 25 to talk about a range of topics such as: the Destination Marketing Plan, recent Cowichan research data, opportunities that exist through the Tourism Resiliency Program, and new partnerships/programs available to stakeholders through Destination British Columbia. These important conversations will be followed by sector roundtables in the Fall (dates and details coming).
The Tourism Cowichan Society supports destination marketing for tourism or hospitality focused businesses or organizations operating in the Cowichan Region. Stakeholders join at no cost and work with the Tourism Cowichan Society in showcasing Cowichan as a preferred destination for travelers. Please join Martina for some discussion on tourism in our region and learn how you can gain access to a wide range of benefits and opportunities that will help grow your tourism business. This is an open invitation to any business owner in the region, current and non-stakeholders.
You can book in advance with Martina through this email Martina martina@tourismvi.ca or just stop in for a coffee, conversation, and some of Cowichan's best baked goods!
Tourism Tuesdays are also an opportunity to check out the Visitor Centre and have a conversation with Kirsty or Patty about how we can represent you and your business in the Centre. And pick up maps, guides, and brochures so you can better represent Cowichan in your business!
