Build an Ocean Food Chain with Ocean Networks Canada The ocean supports so many unique and wonderful creatures. Like all living things, these creatures need energy to survive. Explore where this energy comes from as we 'dive' into ocean food chains. Play a game all about producers, consumers and decomposers, and learn about an incredible marine food chain that breaks all of the rules! This event takes place during Science Odyssey Week, a national campaign that celebrates Canadian achievements in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Materials needed: 2 paperclips pencil 2 pieces of paper a circular object to trace onto the paper, approximately 18-20cm in diameter (a large bowl works well for this)
