Bernadette McCormack: Vibrant Colour

Bernadette?s paintings express a sense of joy, happiness, and spontaneity, and offer complex imagery and symbolism. She paints in both watercolours and acrylics, and her simple lines portray her ideas and let the bold colors tell the story. To create her images, Bernadette layers thin glazes of translucent paints several times to reveal vibrant, saturated pigments. Each painting is finished with clean black lines. She draws daily inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of Vancouver Island.
