We invite you to support local this holiday season at the upcoming \;Shop Sip &\; Support Local event. \;Over the last 21-months\, it has become increasingly apparent that supporting local businesses and vendors is vital to our community and local economy. \n\n

This open house will take place this upcoming Friday\, December 3rd from 3 pm to 6 pm at the Cowichan Regional Visitor Centre.

For this event\, the visitor centre will be transformed into a vendor marketplace with Cowichan-made and \;Island Good \;products\, featuring guest vendors like \;Shea Butter Market\, \;Shawnigan House Coffee &\; Chocolate\, \;Island Gem &\; Bead Supply\, \;and \;Little Zimbabwe Farm. \;The available \;products \;are perfect stocking stuffers\, Secret Santa gifts\, client presents\, and appreciation gifts. Chamber elves will be available at the event to create custom holiday gift baskets with the local items available. \;While you are shopping\, please consider donating to the \;Salvation Army\, \;who will be at the event to collect donations for their 2021 Kettle Drive. \; \n\n

This event is the perfect way to start your Friday evening\, with one complimentary beverage for each attendee\, holiday refreshments\, and snacks available. When you are done shopping\, we suggest continuing the night by supporting one of our many local and close-by restaurants or enjoying the opening night of the \;Christmas Express at the BC Forest Discovery Centre. \; \n
