P\;lease join the \;Somenos Marsh Wildlife Society \;for a community cleanup of the S'\;amunu/Somenos watershed streams. The SMWS'\;s most recent assessment of the S'\;amunu/Somenos watershed discovered a significant amount of garbage in the watershed'\;s streams and riparian corridors. The 3rd annual S'\;amunu \;Make a Difference Day \;is the day teams of volunteers\, guided by Somenos Marsh Wildlife Society staff\, clean up the mess left by others. Last year over 600 kg of garbage was removed. The SMWS hopes to double the effort this year.
