DESCRIPTION:Join artist and bookmaker Carolynn Dallaire on Wednesdays for the month of April as you work to design and create pages using watercolor and calligraphy styles\, that will be assembled into an art journal on the last day. Participants will learn: -Multiple calligraphy alphabet styles -Learn to work with watercolour elements - How to add extra elements to your designs -Bookbinding techniques (stitching) Participants are asked to bring: metal ruler\, pencils (HB plus either a 2B or 3B)\, eraser\, scissors\, black waterproof fine liner (Uniball Vision\, Micron or Staedtler)\, and a ballpoint pen. Items can be purchased at dollar store or stationary store. OPTIONAL supplies to bring: coloured pencils\, small watercolour palette\, medium pointed brush\, chalk pastels\, sheets of paper (please don't purchase\, just bring what you have on hand).
