DESCRIPTION:Learn the art of wet felting from award winning artist Donna L Bennett. Suitable for all experience levels\, each participant will create a wearable art piece from fibres such as Merino wool and silk. All materials are provided for this workshop. Extra scarf making fibre kits and felting equipment will also be availabe for purchase. Note to Participants: Although the process of cobweb felting is physically gentler than traditional wet felting\, it can still be challenging on the back as prolonged bending from the waist is required. Also\, wet floor around your work space can pose a slipping hazard. Please bring: -A bagged lunch -Clothes that can get wet (a water repellent apron - optional)\, please do not wear clothing with loose dangling sleeves -Old bath towel and large bag -Optional: Ear protection\, we will be using power tools
